small things dying under a clear blue sky
small things dying under a clear blue sky, is an exploration of the simultaneity of dying and living – a polyrhythmic pulse on the continuum of Life. Meanwhile, the impartial sky bears witness to this perpetual dance and says nothing. This project is an ongoing and continually evolving visual art performance and practice formed through embodied research on dying, desire, persistence, and transmutation. To date, there are 7 incarnations of the performance, dozens of dance artifacts, and 1 film.

in a dark forest partly illuminated

in a dark forest partly illuminated is a multimedia project including painting, drawing, sculpture, film, sound, and performance. It is based on the concept that what we are able to perceive with the five senses is only a sliver of the whole body of reality and that seeing and being seen can be both empowering and dangerous. The project is a practice and ritual for gaining the sensitivity to be able to perceive and integrate that which is hidden.
